Business Advisory Council (BAC)

The purpose of the BAC is to provide ideas to the NVS Board of Directors on ways to help place those with neurological conditions in quality jobs. Topics have included on-line resume preparation, interviewing skills, employment trends, skills assessments, assistive technologies and legal rights. The discussions are normally led by an expert in the respective topic. In addition, the BAC is also designed to look at ways to improve community awareness of NVS. Ideas for events, fundraisers, job fairs and media evaluation have and will continue to be discussed and implemented.

Participation in the BAC is for those who share the NVS mission and can bring meaningful insights and experiences into the discussions. Current members include business, civic, educational and non profit professionals. Anyone interested can attend.  Click here to send us an RSVP.

The BAC was formed in 2006. Our meetings are held quarterly at the Mezza Cafe in the Starbucks Corporate Office Building in south Seattle. The meetings run from 7:30 to 9:00 and breakfast is provided for free.
